Dr. Jonathan Carey

Dr. Carey grew up in the Rochester area, attended SUNY Geneseo and then Boston University for dental school where he graduated cum laude and was selected as a member of the national dental honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. He has been in private practice for over 25 years and takes great pride in helping his patients improve and maintain their oral health. He is an active member of the American Dental Association , NYS Dental Association & Monroe County Dental Society .
Dr. Carey lives in Penfield with his wife, Laura, and their three children who attend Webster schools. He is very involved with their various activities (basketball, soccer, dance, gymnastics, etc.). He also still tries to stay active by playing basketball and you may see him "hoopin' it up" at the local YMCA's or one of the men's leagues at the Webster Rec Center.

Dr. Kopacz is an experienced and compassionate general dentist who has been in private practice for over 20 years. She is fully knowledgeable of, and confident in, all aspects of general dentistry, with a special emphasis on aesthetic and reconstructive dentistry and special skills in restorative dentistry.
Dr. Kopacz is known and respected for her warm “chair-side manner,” winning personality, exceptional attention to detail, and continual drive toward perfection. She enjoys treating the needs of all patients, from toddlers to seniors.
Dr. Kopacz received her B.A. in Chemistry from SUNY Binghamton and her D.D.S. degree from SUNY Buffalo School of Dental Medicine . After her graduation from dental school she completed a General Practice Residency at Loyola University Medical Center. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, NYS Dental Association, 7th District Dental Society & Monroe County Dental Society.
When she's not in the office Dr. Kopacz enjoys spending time with her husband and two wonderful children. Her hobbies include: ballroom/swing dancing, ballet/tap dancing, cooking, travel , yoga & architecture.

Dr. Lima, born in Fortaleza, Brazil, comes from a distinguished lineage of dental professionals, marking him as the third generation in his family to embrace this noble profession. His initial foray into dentistry began at the prestigious University of Fortaleza, where he not only completed his dental school education but also specialized in orthodontics, dental implants, and prosthodontics. This rigorous training laid a solid foundation for his remarkable career.
In 2016, Dr. Lima embarked on a new chapter in the United States, where he delved into research at the esteemed Harvard Dental School. His quest for knowledge and excellence in his field did not stop there; in 2017, he moved to Rochester to pursue an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program at Eastman Dental. This program further honed his skills and expertise in dentistry, preparing him to tackle a wide range of dental challenges.
Beyond his academic and professional achievements, Dr. Lima is deeply committed to giving back to the community. He serves as a volunteer faculty member at Eastman Dental, where he shares his knowledge and experience with aspiring dentists. He is also an active member of several dental organizations, including the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association, and the 7th District Dental Society. His involvement in these organizations underscores his dedication to the advancement of dental science and his commitment to professional excellence.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Lima enjoys a fulfilling personal life with his wife, Wila, and daughter, Ivy. He cherishes the time spent playing volleyball with Ivy, showcasing his nurturing side as a father. A practitioner of jiu-jitsu, he embodies the discipline and strength that this martial art instills. True to his Brazilian roots, he is also a passionate soccer fan and enjoys the simple pleasures of a good barbecue with family and friends. He is also an avid fisherman and enjoys heading out on nearby Irondequoit Bay in his fishing kayak. Dr. Lima's life reflects a harmonious blend of professional dedication, personal growth, and cultural heritage, making him a well-rounded individual and a respected figure in the dental community.
